Australia On My MindJanuary 11th, 2020
It is heartbreaking what is happening in Australia at the moment. Over 10 million hectares (almost 25 million acres) of land have burned from the bushfires that have been going on since September 2019.
Over a BILLION animals killed (estimates are 1.25 billion but most likely even more if insects are included). Even if the animals manage to escape the fires, or are rescued, koalas and other wildlife still face starvation and dehydration due to their habitat being destroyed and the severe drought. What is happening in Australia, environmentally and politically, worries me greatly.
Drawing is proving to be good therapy.
